The Sandbox partners with Warner Music Group: Musical Metaverse
The Sandbox team established a partnership with the Warner Music Group to work on the Musical Metaverse.
The Sandbox is a virtual Metaverse crypto project. In the virtual world of Sandbox, Metaverse players can play, build, own, and monetize their virtual experiences. The team behind this platform is trying its best to increase the reach of its services in Metaverse.
On 27 January, The Sandbox announced that its team established a partnership with music giant Warner Music Group (WMG). The main aim of this partnership is to use the resources of both companies to create a Musical Metaverse. And this is the first time when Warner entered the NFTs and Metaverse-based partnership and work.
The team of The sandbox said that the music group acquired ESTATE and this ESTATE will work as an entry portal for its artists and users of The sandbox to enter the Metaverse. ESTATE is a collaborative form of musical theme park and concert venue. In ESTATE, top artists of WMG will show their performances and plays.
WMG shared its happiness for its latest partnership with The Sandbox. Company stated:
“Our partnership with The Sandbox adds a new layer of possibility in the metaverse, with the ownership of the virtual real estate. As a first-mover, Warner Music has secured the equivalent of beachfront property in the metaverse.”
Oana Ruxandra, Chief Digital Officer of Warner Music Group, said that both of the teamwork will work to develop persistent, immersive social music experiences that defy real-world limitations to allow WMG artists and users of The Sandbox to engage with each other in Metaverse.
At the time of writing this article, the price of a Sand coin ( a native token of The Sandbox) is $3.45 and this price is 6.2% high over the last 24 hours. However, this price down by 8% over the last one week of the time interval.
