Expert says Blockchain gaming doesn’t worth it at all

The concept of blockchain gaming is a better idea but many things are not better for the future of gamers. 

As we know, the Nonfungible tokens (NFTs) concept integrated the crypto industry with many non-crypto communities including digital talents like musicians, painters, etc. However, this concept of the crypto industry contributed much to push the adoption but now the NFTs concept is moving toward another level, where we don’t need to see. 

The gaming industry is trying to adopt blockchain-based gaming platforms and also many crypto projects are doing high-level preparation to enter the space with the blockchain gaming concepts. Few projects are doing the same but they are still not at that level, where they can say that they are giving the real experience of Blockchain gaming. 

In the present time, most of the blockchain gaming projects are only giving the facility of NFTs items that can be used for gaming characters. That means a user can buy all the NFTs based items to decorate the environment of the game or use clothes or guns for the character.

This is a very common thing that game lovers usually buy, which can make a gaming character more powerful against the opposition character. But here the introduction of NFTs and Blockchain is not needed because blockchain technology consumes high energy and high fees to own an NFTs item. On the other hand, the same thing can be done without any fees system. 

Blockchain-based technology and NFTs concepts are still much better in those cases, where trust is needed at a high level. Here we are talking about blockchain gaming and this may end up a huge loss for the users because a company will not pay from his pocket and that burden will fall on the game user.

Edward Snowden on blockchain NFTs based gaming 

Gaming is a type of addiction and that is a very common thing and only lasts for a few days or weeks for a person, except teenagers. 

If in any situation, a person will quit the game then the value of all the NFTs that a gamer bought, will be zero and also no use case. 

According to Edward Snowden– former CIA agent and also a proponent of Bitcoin supporter- said that these new blockchain technology use cases are forcibly generated ideas that are not needed. And also these types of activities by the gaming and crypto projects may end up into a threat to the NFTs and blockchain technology misuse. 

Edward also suggested that crypto and gaming projects need to stop the initiative of such kinds of things, where companies are selling NFTs clothes and other items to use in the game and worth nothing. And also noted that Companies are making money but users will not.

However, besides all these things, few people supported the NFTs concept in the gaming industry and said that traditional options doesn’t allow a user to send his bought items to another person but here with the NFTs, we can share.
