Hackers are targeting Crypto users via blockchain games: Report 2

A cyber security firm reported that hackers discovered a new way to spread new malware among MacOS & Windows system users.

It is a very common technique for hackers to target innocent & newbie internet users. In the present time, the majority of internet users are wise enough as well as mobile/laptop operating systems against normal online hacking attacks. Hackers usually discover new ways to conduct cyber attacks.

Recently cybersecurity firm SentinelOne reported that hackers are spreading a new malware called “Realst”. The bad actors are spreading this malware easily to the MaC as well as Windows devices.

Hackers are spreading the link of this new malware via blockchain games, which is a popular & trendy topic in the crypto sector.

Over the last couple of years, several game companies proposed the concept of blockchain game, which allows gamers to earn money while playing the game. The majority of the gaming companies faced criticism for their blockchain games but few succeeded to grab attention because of the better Play2Earn model (P2E).

Experts noted that hackers took advantage of this trend, so they created such malicious links containing blockchain games to easily mislead internet visitors and to easily hack the operating system.

Realm malware can hack Crypto wallets and also can steal passwords & login details from the computer, which is a very big critical thing for people who are looking for blockchain games.

The report noted that the popular names of such suspicious blockchain gaming apps are Brawl Earth, WildWorld, Dawnland, Destruction, Evolution, Pearl, Olymp of Reptiles, and SaintLegend.

So here we request all of our readers to share this information with everyone so that we remain protected against any kind of such cyber attack.
