Ripple aims to save the earth with its multi-partnership strategy

On “Earth Day”, Ripple explained how it is working with full focus to reduce the carbon footprint level in the world. 

Ripple is a San Francisco headquartered fintech firm, known to provide cross-border payment services to multinational businesses across the world. Ripple’s independent team Ripple Labs manages the XRP ledger, a Proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain network. XRP is the native token of XRP Leger. Ripple uses XRP coin to provide cross-border payment services. 

On the occasion of “Earth Day”, on 23 April Ripple team published a clip to inform the crypto community about the efforts that Ripple is doing to help the earth’s environment.

Crypto firms stated that the current phase of the world is facing a global climate crisis as a big challenge but that issue can be solved with the help of blockchain technology-based carbon markets. 

Ripple confirmed that its team is working to help achieve global environmental goals since 2018 and in this initiative Ripple already established partnerships with several fintech companies, foundations, universities, social entrepreneurs, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to make progress. 

All the Ripple’s partners are available in more than 80 countries in this world and this San Francisco headquartered firm raised a $150 million donation from all these companies. 

Ripple aims to neutralize carbon emissions by 2030 and also aims to improve the environment via efficient & better financial inclusion & involvement of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs). 

Ripple is itself an efficient blockchain network and also pledged to bring the blockchain world to sustainable energy sources. 

Ripple vs SEC

More than 20 Central Banks are in contact with Ripple to get assistance & technical guidance to develop CBDC. The Ripple team is focused to bring blockchain technology used in every sector.

Since Dec 2020, Ripple has been in a legal fight with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the nature of the XRP coin but still, Ripple is not diverting its focus from its all main aims.
