Shark Tank star Mark Cuban supported Bitcoin against Gold and said that he wants Bitcoin to go down. 

Shark tank star Mark Cuban is an American billionaire entrepreneur. The net worth of this billionaire is an estimated $4.8 billion, according to Forbes (2020). He is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team of the National Basketball Association (NBA). 

On 26 Dec, Mark Cuban appeared in the “Club Random” podcast hosted by comedian Bill Maher. During the podcast, Cuban shared his opinion on the Bitcoin vs Gold comparison as an investment asset. 

Cuban said that Bitcoin is the best & excellent investment asset and he wants Bitcoin to go down because he wants buy more Bitcoins for his portfolio. 

When Podcast host Maher said that he is a Bitcoin hater & he believes in Gold as the best investment asset. On this thing, Cuban replied and said that if you are holding Gold then you’re dumb.

“You know what? If you have gold, you’re dumb as f*#k,” Cuban said.

Further, when Maher said that Gold is the best hedge then American Billionaire explained that Gold is not a hedge against anything and it is only a stored value.

Cuban stated:

“No, but it’s not a hedge against anything, right? What it is is the stored value and you don’t own the physical gold, do you… Gold is a stored value and so is Bitcoin.”

Last month, Cuban shared with his followers why he loves the Crypto & blockchain industry despite significant volatility in the market. He explained that smart contracts like things are innovative & this technology allows crypto transactions. 

In the past few years, Cuban passed many positive comments on the crypto sector. Over the FTX downfall, Cuban said that the FTX debacle was not indicative of crypto’s failure and also its founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) should be sentenced to jail for several years.
