Dogecoin foundation core developer left the project due to stress

Ross Nicoll left the Dogecoin project and also suggested many types of things to the Dogecoin foundation.

Dogecoin is a very old crypto project. In 2021, the developer team of Dogecoin again reunited and recreated because of the initiative of Tesla CEO Elon Musk to lead the project as a significant blockchain Network in this world. 

Ross Nicoll is a core developer of the Dogecoin Foundation. On 16 February, Nicoll announced and confirmed that he is leaving the Dogecoin project. 

Reason to leave the project 

Nicoll noted that he is facing lots of burdens and stress due to the work in the project. He noted that such stresses surged when he shifted again in the blockchain industry as a developer. 

However, he said that he will remain active in the Dogecoin project as an advisor for the next one to two months to guide the team to facilitate smooth transitions of development works. 

Suggestion to Dogecoin foundation 

Nicoll raised trademarks based concerns that are associated with the Dogecoin project. 

He said that many third parties registered their trademark with Dogecoin, while they are not the officials of the Dogecoin project. 

The Dogecoin developer noted that such things were really a tedious problem last year but if the core developer and project team will not do anything on this matter then surely Dogecoin will face huge legal hurdles in the future. 

“The Foundation is operating in an extremely challenging environment, where every step of the way simple processes are significantly more complex than they should be, but it is moving forward,” said Nicoll.

Now it will be interesting to see if Nicoll will follow the footsteps of Billy Markus or not. Billy Markus is a past Dogecoin core developer and he is popular on Twitter as Shibetoshi Nakamoto. He keeps doing promotion of Dogecoin Project by giving better details and explaining how Dogecoin is perfect over other blockchain networks. 

A few months ago, Billy also noted that the job of developers remains very stressful.
