90% of freelance Argentinians choosing Bitcoin or Ethereum to accept payments
A report revealed that the majority of the freelance workers are accepting Bitcoin & Ethereum based payment methods as primary payment tools.
In the present time, the crypto Industry is performing in almost every financial sector because of its decentralized nature. Because of Crypto, people can do jobs globally without any restriction of the payment systems as well as options, except for a few countries like China.
Recently Deel, a Global hiring firm, published its report on the current freelance users and their interest to choose crypto as a payment option.
Deel’s report is based on the freelancer’s interest-based research of last year. The report noted that more than 21% of freelance users are involved in the marketing, products, and sales sector over the last six months.
The report mainly pointed out the efforts of the Argentinians and Latin America-based freelancers, which are highly interested to work in international companies. And the majority of them are choosing Bitcoin or Ethereum based payment options. Such freelancers are falling in this category are 90%.
Deel’ noted that crypto withdrawal activities also surged at platforms because of the rapid adoption of Bitcoin and blockchain-based digital assets in Latin America because of the increasing demand to increase financial inclusion rates of its citizens and approach towards better financial stability.
Dan Westgarth, COO at Deel, noted that an increase in crypto withdrawal has been seen in Argentina’s freelancers. Deel is currently supporting BTC, ETH, USDC, SOL directly with Coinbase.
“We are seeing an increase in cryptocurrency withdrawals, in countries like Argentina,” said Deel COO Dan Westgarth. “We currently offer withdrawals in BTC -the most popular in Latin America-ETH, USDC, and SOL through Coinbase.”
Deel also noted that the platform is providing its fiat withdrawal services also but the choice of digital assets-based payment options is giving better support for the users to get out the limitations of volatility in fiat currencies.
